IETS has collaborated with Rumi Schools of Excellence to improve the quality of education imparted to the students from economically disadvantaged background in a chain of schools in Hyderabad. The project was initiated in a chain of schools with the training of Master trainers in first week of June 2009. The project aims to groom the teachers of these schools and provide them with robust, interactive and easy to do lesson plans in order to ensure engaged learning with comprehension. IETS is working on the following areas in this project: Ensuring Quality Education in Schools IETS offers to build Lesson Plans for all subjects and all classes from Std 1 to 10. A set of Lesson Plans will be provided for each standard and each subject with corresponding set of Teaching Aids. Capacity Building of Teachers In order to build capacity in Teachers that enables them to transfer knowledge in a class, workshops will be organized for each subject and each standard. IETS will also design a Behavioural and Motivational Program for teachers so that they: appreciate the impact of attitude on various aspects of life and  the  relationship between attitude and behaviour value their role as educators/service providers are sensitised towards their own communication styles and thus enhance the same for improved interpersonal relationships. Learning Enhancement of Students Special Learning Kits will also be developed for the following subjects in order to enhance learning of students: Science Math English Language A program for learning the use of computers known as Functional ICT Skills for STD 1 to 10 will be introduced for the students to help them learn computers as a ''Life Skill''. Being student-centric, the program involves fun-filled activities.
