Adding Dimensions
IETS has been working in the field of improvement of teaching methods and processes by conducting soft skills training programs especially designed for teachers and educators all over the country. The IETS training programme “Adding Dimensions” for teachers facilitates schools to gain global competencies and enable teachers in ‘managing and facilitating’ ‘classrooms and students’ respectively.
Today, a teacher needs to act in a multi-faceted role to prepare the students as functional citizens in a holistic manner. The teacher’s responsibilities go beyond teaching to occupying a strategic and central position in the teaching-learning environment.
There are two Teaching enhancement programs designed by IETS, each consisting of three modules.
The Classroom Management Series:
- Teaching Styles and Attitudes
- Teaching Strategies and Skills
- Classroom Management Process
The Classroom Communications Series:
- Communication in the Classroom
- Classroom Presentation Skills
- School and Home Interactions
Profile of Participants: Both Freshers and In-service teachers can take part in this program.
Training Methodology: You can also enroll into any of the modules, each of 4 hours duration, separately. The methodology used is the experiential model of learning. Based on competency level of participants, the training takes aspects like language skills into consideration. Training is conducted using: case studies; concept boards; exercises; quizzes; role plays, as well as multimedia presentations and videos.
In addition, the training process has three stages:

After completing either set of three modules, a participant is awarded A Certificate of Participation.
