Skill-Based Programs
Chalk and Chip Chalk and Chip is a skill-based training program that aims at training teachers in design, development and delivery of technology-enable lessons in a classroom setting. The program also exposes teachers to global trends in education and enables them to recognise technology as a tool for improving classroom practices.
Components of Chalk and Chip:
- Familiarisation with computer parts

- Use of CD-ROMs, Internet, E-mail and related applications
- Use of IETS lessons
- Development of teacher’s skills to prepare Technology Aided Lessons
- Familiarity with the use of peripheral devices such as Digi-cam, speakers, printers, projection equipment
- Integrating technology with classroom teaching by using different media
- Application of technology in other related areas like project work, administration
English Plus
English Plus aims to activate English language skills in school teachers. With the aid of group exercises, discussions and role plays, it enhances the existing English usage of teachers. Interestingly enough, it focuses on development of the teacher not only as a professional but also as a learner.
It is a 50-hour program delivered through 25 sessions with the aid of resource CD and facilitator manual. The program design is based on three pillars of learning- Knowledge, Skills and Attitude.

- A set of group games that can be played for the students of the school to better their English speaking skills.
