double click!TM
The Computer Education programme
IETS has introduced double click!TM to make children technologically sound during their formative years. This series comprising Curriculum-Integrated IT Education content provides students with Computer Technology skills within the context of their curriculum. It aims to go beyond just "learning computer skills" to actually "learning how to use computer skills appropriately".
As part of this initiative, teachers are trained on newer and exciting ways to make IT teaching interesting for the students. The Resource CDs of double click!TM feature different activities and teaching materials. A Computer Lab with 10 computers, a webcam and a colour printer is set up for this program. It can also be eventually used for works related to administration.
Target learners: Catering to the needs of children of all classes from Kindergarten to Class 10, this activity-involved and fun-based series makes learning an enjoyable experience.
