Empowering Learning in Schools

Integrated Learning Program (ILP) for Schools is a 3-year partnership between a School and IETS that caters to the needs of Students, Teachers and School Management. A whole school solution aimed at empowering learning, ILP features use of numerous teaching-learning programs, learning tools, skill-based training modules and technology resources.

Ranging from interactive CDs, subject-specific learning kits, skill-based training programs, Fun-to-Read illustrated storybooks, computer lab to multimedia lessons, ILP features a number of Learning Programs for students from Kindergarten to Class 10, teachers and non-academic staff. ILP also involves the application of Information and Communication technologies and non-technology tools for enhancing performance of both Students and Teachers, besides smoothening Administration.

ILP Programs:

For Students-

  • ILP intervention includes introduction of a teaching-learning device called K-Yan and its accessories like Digital Pen-Mouse, Acti-Pen Software and USB Microscope for technology-aided learning in classrooms.
  • Multimedia lessons on various subjects, 1090 of which are loaded in K-Yans (single all-media product) given to a school.
  • It has also Computer Education program for learners from KG to Class 10.
  • Computer Lab along with its accessories is set up to provide adequate IT infrastructure for use of technology by students apart from teachers and admin staff.
  • Aimed at the students of Class 1-8, ILP offers a number of subject-specific kits for learning Hindi, English, Science and Maths.
  • Apart from Smart Kit, a learning tool involving several teaching-learning devices for pre-primary children, ILP also offers life-skills training program for students.
  • It offers Fun-to-Read illustrated storybooks adopting basic themes from History, Science and Geography for incorporation in the school library.

For Teachers-

  • For enhancement of role effectiveness as well as skills in English language and IT usage of teachers, ILP features several programs
  • It also includes program for familiarising the teachers with innovative teaching methodologies in classroom
  • ILP also organises workshops to orient teachers for supporting children with special needs. 

 

For Non-academic staff-

  • Apart from the development of students and teachers, ILP also features programs for developing skills in English language and IT usage as well as role effectiveness of non-academic staff of schools.

Methodology:

With a direct focus on Learning, ILP aims to improve performance of the students, strengthen capacity of the teachers, streamline Administration and develop Technology Infrastructure for classroom teaching, student’s learning and operations of the schools. ILP also has a Monitoring and Evaluation System, which acts as a check on the implementation of the Learning programs. This system involves assessment of student learning, monitoring of teacher in the classroom, tracking program implementation, recommendation of areas for support and reporting achievements of the program and challenges faced therein.
