Education & Skill Interventions for Minorities

IL&FS Education offers exclusive programmes on education and skills for the rural BPL youth belonging to the minority community. We are reaching out to unemployed youth from the minority community, particularly those who lack basic formal education. We research and study, across states, to assess the current level of skills programs that specially targets the minority community and the expectations of the community. Based on this research we work with senior opinion makers in minority community to understand their outlook.

Our programs ensure that the youth from the minority community are offered suitable employment linked skills training to ensure suitable social inclusion of the minorities' community preceded by a Basic Foundation in education.

Our programs utilize existing training infrastructure like Madrasas, NGOs, and existing surplus space in Government building and assesses the available infrastructure at the identified centre. Infrastructure including computers, projectors, library and reference books are added accordingly. Suitable provisions including infrastructure, training aids and tools are provided for skills training programmes depending on the technical skills to be imparted, for example for the service sector, textiles, leather, engineering and construction

IL&FS Educations offers:
