Rudradutta Finds a Friend - Discovering the Satavahana Kingdom

Sumanta a cloth merchant and his son Rudradutta travel by boat from their home in the Pallava kingdom to King Hala’s kingdom. On reaching Srikakulam, Rudradutta and his father rest in a dharamshala and set out at day break to sell the cloth. Rudradutta is awed by all the new sights and sounds and in the excitement of the bazaar and a magician he gets separated from his father. In his wanderings he befriends a young boy, Sanghamitra and learns all about the mighty Satavahanas.
