IL&FS Education partners with Government of Odisha and UNICEF to implement Life Skills Programme

Odisha: IL&FS Education has partnered with Government of Odisha and UNICEF to launch a Life Skills Programme - Anchor in the districts of Koraput and Malkangiri , Odisha. ).

This programme will impact 7200 students across 90 KGBV/ Ashramshala Schools. 270 Head Masters and teachers have been trained under this initiative.).

The objective of Anchor is to enhance life skills of students in their formative stages, which help the students to strengthen their ability to confront various problems and stress that they are likely to face in their lives. The activities conducted help promote their sense of overall well-being and relationship with others, which in turn influences their perception and attitude about themselves as well as that of the world.).

Anchor programme also addresses the need to develop self-confidence in students and to successfully deal with significant life changes and challenges. It enables students make a positive contribution by developing expertise and experience needed to claim their rights and understand their responsibilities thereby preparing them for the challenges and opportunities of adult life.
