IL&FS Education wins mBillionth Award South Asia, 2012
IL&FS Education's PPTCT-Health Monitoring and Management System (P-HMMS) has won the mBillionth award 2012 for ground-breaking use of mobile technology in the health sector. P-HMMS is an innovative mobile based application which is used by the project coordinators on the field to track and report the HIV/AIDS status of pregnant mothers.
The award was jointly received by two of our project coordinators Ms. Ajim Nisha from Chennai Tamil Nadu and Ms. Yathika Patel from Patan, Gujarat.
mBillionth Award is a dedicated platform to explore the latent potential of mobile & telecom sector across 8 countries in South Asia: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
