Aurangabad: The special children of Swayamsidha have a new guest in their classroom; a K-YAN, an integrated community computer developed by IL&FS and IIT Mumbai.

Swayamsidha is an institution in Aurangabad run by parents which exclusively caters to the children with special needs.

The institution has been also actively involved in providing education, remedial therapy and commercial training to children with multiple disabilities. Continuing their commitment to provide education to the children with special needs and sharpen their thinking capabilities, the parents collected funds and gifted a K-YAN to the institution.

An inauguration ceremony was held on 8th December’11. Ms. Vandana Kochure, Social welfare Officer presided over the function as the chief guest.
