9 Ways of learning
The theory that intelligence is a single unit that can be measured through IQ tests is out.
Howard Gardner, the psychologist, identified seven (now nine) different types of intelligences that exist in all of us. Individuals differ in the strength of these intelligences and in the ways in which we use these intelligences to carry out tasks, solve problems, and progress. A child’s learning style and capacity is greatly influenced by these intelligences at work.
