Aadhaar Enrolment

IL&FS is an empanelled Enrolment Agency (EA) with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) based on company’s distinctive technical and financial capabilities for executing large scale e-governance mandates.

IL&FS is empanelled with the following distinctions:

• Technical Capability: Level T2 (highest currently possible)



• Financial Capability: Level F4 (highest)

We been awarded mandates from several Registrars to issue Aadhaar (a 12-digit unique identification number) to the residents of India. The process involves capturing basic demographics and biometric information, including a photograph, all hand fingerprints and iris of each individual. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) issues Aadhaar and stores the information of each individual on its central database.

We have enrolled 9 million people till date out of which 6.72 million Aadhaars have been issued.
