How much space is required to set up an IETS Education Center?

The area required for setting up an IETS Center would depend on the number of students expected to be enrolled. But we would suggest a minimum area of: Large City -> 1000-1500 sft District Level -> 750-1200 sft Block Level -> 700-1000 sft The premises should have adequate space for a reception area, class rooms, computer lab and office.

Can I make my existing education center an IETS Education Center?

Yes. If you have an IT Institute, conduct any sort of classes, have a spoken English Institute you can become an authorised IETS Education Center.

How do I recruit my students?

When you set up an IETS Education Center you will get program promotion material including posters, inserts and brochures. You will also be supported by IETS Team and State Promotion campaign by IETS.

Is any training provided?

Yes. There is a comprehensive training after you partner to set up an IETS Education Center. This includes training on successfully setting up and operating an IETS Education Center and program training for all the programs you decide to offer at your Center.

Can I own more than one center?

Yes, if you can successfully manage multiple centers you can apply for them. You can also become a State Education Partner wherein you work in multiple districts mapped to you in the State provided you have the required infrastructure and expertise.

What is an IETS Education Center?

IETS Education Center are education centers that are authorized to offer various courses from IL&FS Education and Technology Services Ltd. Currently there are programs in the area of IT, Spoken English Program and English Language available through the IETS Education Centers.

What is my target market?

As IETS Education Center is unique in its concept, your target market would virtually cover everyone in your locality including school children, college students, teachers, citizens at large including government employees, private company employees etc.

Can I sell or transfer my IETS Education Center to someone else?

Yes, provided the person who wants to takeover the IETS Education Center from you meets the IETS standard qualification - financially, operationally and personally. The person taking over the IETS Education Center will also be required to pay a transfer fees applicable at that time.

How long will it take me to get an IETS Education Center started?

You can start an IETS Education Center within 2 weeks depending on site availability, completion of training and other formalities.

What is the term of agreement?

The term of agreement is one year with a renewal option at the end of this period.

Will IETS support the Education Partners in advertising and promotion?

Yes. A large portion of the program fees is committed for promotion of IETS Education Centers. The promotion campaigns will be launched at local, State and National level as decided from time to time by the management.

Can I conduct any other business from my premises?

Yes, as long as the business is discrete and non-conflicting with that of the IETS Education Center subject to the prior written permission from IETS.

Am I required to use the standardized stationery and advertising?

The use of the standardized letterheads and business cards and the standardized color scheme is essential, and while it is not compulsory, Education Center Partners are advised to use the suggested advertising format as suggested by IETS from time to time.
